What Students Say
Feedback from bodyworkers and holistic therapists who've experienced a different kind of learning.
"This course, like a comfortable breath, flowed organically, allowing each individual to honor their own experience ... their own breath."
- Melsina P.
"The material we covered felt both easy to grasp and essential for life – much like breathing! Timothy has a knack for bringing spaciousness to potentially overwhelming subjects and for getting right to the heart of the work."
- Fox D.
"Timothy teaches in an inquisitive and inclusive setting that encourages conversation and questions with thoughtful guidance that leads you into expansion of your own Reiki practice.
- Karen W.
Core Values
At Quieted, I strive to create learning spaces that down regulate our collective and individual anxieties.
1
pacing
Following in the path of the slow foods movement, we intentionally slow down. We allow life’s hectic pace to soften so we can savor and better absorb the learning experience.
2
permission
We share a space where there is permission to think differently, to move outside the box, to ask difficult questions. And ultimately to discover and embrace our own needs and resources.
3
practice
By acknowledging that learning is an ongoing process, we let go of the need to “know” or find the “right” answer. We practice returning to what is most healthful for ourselves, our communities, and our clients.
4
simplicity
We practice returning to our personal and professional intentions with patience and non-judgement. This simplicity of practice allows our personal and professional lives to be grounded, clear, and sustainable.
